Role of House Forwarders / KOSTAR

Receipt of Order Placement Status

Notification of schedule to respective shippers and proceeding with shipment based on their requests, notification of cargo shipment to the agent, checking and managing the shipment status Land/Ocean-transportation to the destination port, document handling, processing of export licenses and insurance

Destination Import Customs Clearance and Other Ancillary Tasks

Based on the evidence of STEP 2 shipment, notifying the importer of cargo arrival for import declaration. Proceeding with customs clearance tasks. After collecting the Original Bill of Lading (B/L) from the importer, issuing the Delivery Order (D/O). Arranging dispatch and releasing the shipment after import declaration.

Delivery and Settlement

After completing STEP 3, delivering the cargo to the importer.

Receipt of Order Placement Status

FOB BASE - Contacting each supplier for shipment status management and notification/shipment CIF and C&F - Checking and managing shipment status through the supplier or offerer, including marine insurance

Ocean/AIR shipment, document handling

Import Customs Clearance and Other Ancillary Tasks

Preparation tasks based on the evidence of STEP 2, related to final factory receipt Direct coordination with the factory for import-related tasks Calculation of customs clearance funds and request for fund transfer After fund transfer, import declaration and customs clearance process Upon import declaration, receiving the Delivery Order (D/O) from the carrier, agent, etc., and settling freight and ancillary costs After completing the import declaration, the shipment will be delivered.

Delivery and Settlement

After completing STEP 3, transportation is arranged either to the respective factories or to the final destination. After all tasks are completed, costs are settled for each step, and settlement is finalized with supporting documents and a settlement statement.
